This trek will highlight the authentic tradition and cultural beliefs of the Peruvian highlands. Along the route we will see people living in straw & stone houses, shepherding their llamas and alpacas; their economy is still based on the system of exchanging products. This trek offers you the most variable mountain scenery, unique in its characteristics, beautiful snowcapped mountains, glacier lakes and its peculiar fauna and flora. We have a very leisurely program and we will set up camp at these great places with fascinating views. To complement this great trek, we will explore the main Inca treasure: Machupicchu.

When to make a book.
We recommend you to book 30 days in advance; if you are thinking to come in between June and September we advice you to book at least 8 weeks in advance. Only 500 people are allowed to enter the Inca Trail each day, and this includes guides and porters, which leaves  approximately 200 tourists. Thus, hikers essentially require permits obtained in advance by a licensed local tour operator to reserve space on the trail. When you book the very last minute, you will likely not get space and not a good campsite.
