Day 1: Cusco
Arrival in Cusco.
Transfer to your hotel. Full briefing about Cusco and complete review of your tour itinerary. This day there is no formal planned activity.
Day 2: Sacred valley tour.
Today we travel towards the green fertile valley west of Cusco, where we will be rewarded by stunning mounting scenery. We will visit the Pisaq ruins and local market. The tour ends at the picturesque village of Ollantaytambo, which was considered the main Inca living town in the valley.
Day 3: Aguas calientes.-
Board an early morning train and wind through the Urubamba Valley towards Aguas Calientes. Enjoy the local scenery or the bustling activity along the railway tracks. in late afternoon you can go to enjoy the natural hot springs located at 10 minutes out of the town.
Day 4: Machupicchu/Cusco.
Rise early to take advantage of viewing Machu Picchu in the early morning light. Today is a day you willalways remember as you visit the Mecca of the Incas. It was discovered in 1911 by an American named Mr. Hiram Bingham. This fascinating legacy of the Incas –Machupicchu- is waiting for you. Early in the morning we will take the train to the town of Aguas Calientes and then take a bus up to Machupicchu and start exploring it with an experienced guide. Late in the afternoon we will take the train and return through the Urubamba Valley to Cusco and transfer to your hotel.
Day 5: Cusco to Puno.
Fantastic journey through the Peruvian south lands, crossing the high altiplano. You will visit interesting places and stop along volcanic hot springs. We will arrive in the afternoon at Puno, a small city located at the banks of the highest navigatable lake of the world.
Day 6, 7: Tour to lake Titicaca & Bus to Arequipa.
Today we will travel by a motor boat toward the fascinating floating islands of Uros. After that we continue towards Takile and walk across the lovely island observering the typical agriculture on Incan terraces; all this followed by an overnight immersion into Peruvian rural lifewith a homestay in Amantani a small island. Return to Puno. In the evening we will take the night royal class bus for 5 hours to Arequipa and enjoy accommodation in a comfortable hotel.
Day 8, 9: Colca canyon tour.
Starting at 9 am and travel through the high Andes to the Colca Canyon with overnight in Chivay wherethere is a magnificent natural hot spring. The next day, early in the morning, we continue the tour toward LA CRUZ DEL CONDOR, considered the best place to appreciate the world's deepest canyon and view the majestic condors over flying the canyon, and then we return to Arequipa.
Day 10, Departure.- Transfer to the airport.
